Lainie Breaux, L.C.S.W.
Therapist

When an atmosphere of trust and collaboration is created, healing can begin. My clients have shared with me that I am warm-hearted, have a sense of humor and play, am amicable, and non-judgmental. Within this space, clients who are learning to live with mood, personality or thought disorders, addictions, trauma and life adjustment issues can explore their life experiences, learn to use their current strengths, and add new skills to move towards their goals. It takes time and patience, honesty and courage to look at one's self and stick with new thoughts and behaviors.

I love what I do for a living. I enjoy my clients and celebrate their recovery. My clinical focus in the past few years has been solution-focused, brief therapy with adults in crises, but I have also worked with children and adolescents in play and talk therapy. I am also a trained life coach.

I work with people who are thinking about making changes in their lives so that they feel more purposeful, satisfied, and peaceful with themselves and those they choose to have around them. But change can be hard sometimes and having someone be open, honest, and caring can make a tremendous difference in that process. If you like, call me for an initial consultation or make an appointment to see if we fit together to get started tackling the challenges you are facing!
