Psychiatrist
After graduating from Harvard College with Honors, Dr. Chester attended Dartmouth Medical School. He moved to New Orleans in 1978 where he completed his internship and residency in General Psychiatry at Tulane,
spending his last year as Chief Resident. Dr. Chester also graduated from Tulane's Program in Psychoanalytic Medicine, though his current practice is focused almost entirely on psychopharmacology. He has been a
Clinical Associate Professor in Tulane's Dept. of Psychiatry and has also held teaching positions at the Univ. of Hawaii Medical School, Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, and the East Jefferson General
Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program (where he was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2012/2013). In the past, he was the Assistant Medical Director at DePaul Hospital, where he had responsibility over all Adult

fortunate to have picked the medical specialty of psychiatry and says that he has enjoyed going to work every day since he graduated medical school!
